At this juncture of sad state of affairs, Telangana NRIs are bravely standing up for the aspirations of telangana people. We cannot let go Naidu, without letting him know that there is a huge population of telanganites in US, who are very upset with his rhetoric of United AP, without looking at the ground realities. Many of his own party colleagues agreed on many occasions that injustices are done to telangana people. How ever, they looked at the issue only to blame other parties and to take political mileage for themselves.
As sons and daughters of telanagana soil, it is our solemn responsibility to protest democratically and let CBN know that he cannot get away without addressing the injustices continuously being perpetrated on telangana people.
Telangana NRIs are organizing a "Save Telangana" peaceful protest. The protest is on Friday, July 6th between 10 am and 1 pm at the Washington DC Convention Center. We have taken permit from Police to protest peacefully.
Our Message to Naidu and respected Press is:
- Stop Polavarm, Save Telangana
- Respect Peoples Will – Support Telangana State
- Krishna to Seema, Godavari to Andhra, Nothing to Telangana ?
- Stop Illegal Projects like Polavaram, Pulichintala, Pothireddi padu
- NRIs heart beats for Telangana people
- Release a WHITE PAPER on TDP accomplishments in telangana while in power for 9 years
- People of Telangana - we support your struggle.
- Jai Telangana
We appeal every telanganaite in tri-state area to join the protest. It will be totally peaceful protest and more crowds mean much stronger message to CBN and more over, our protest will boost the morale of our telangana ground troops, who are working day-in and day-out to spread the message of telangana cause.
We also appeal telanganaites, who are coming to TANA Conference from different parts of US/world, to come out of the convention center between 10 am and join us in the protest.
Please do note that our protest is not against TANA. We have no intention to disturb TANA proceedings/Conference.
