Shankaradada Zindabad- Movie Review
Starring-- Megastar, Karishma, Shiyaji, Shinde, Brahmanadam, Venumadhav etc.
Directed by- Prabhudeva
Music by-- Devi Sree Prasad
Release Date--27th July
Verdict-- GOOD
Shankara Prasad is Dadagiri expert and impost himself as professor. He falls in love with Jahnavi's voice (Karishma) who is Radio Jockey . He dreams to meet her. And ATM (Srikanth) arranges to meet her and he falls in love with her instantly.
Jahnavi runs a old age home in the building of businessman Rajalingam (Shiyaji Shinde). Shankar and ATM (Srikanth) assistant of Shankar works for Rajalingam
Jahnavi invites Shankar to her old age home and asks him to give lecture on Gandhism to those old people. Shankar goes to library to know something about Gandhi, there the ghost of Gandhi appears to Shankar and it will become regular practice for Shankar with ghost Gandhi.
Gandhi teaches principles of truth and non-violence to Shankar. Rajalingam wanted to vacate the old age home forcibly, but Shankar's Gandhism helps to retain old age home for Jahnavi and Jahnavi for Shankar.
Performance--
Chiru--Excellent performance by Megastar, His dance is supreme at the age of 50+ .
Karishma- is not up to the mark. She is no way match for Megastar either in dances or performing the scenes. Fans might feel Karishma is not the right choice for Megastar. She is neither glamorous nor good looks.
Srikanth- Srikanth is really steels the show with his great performance.
Prabhudeva-- There is no creative job from Prabhudeva, just copy to LRMB. The film last nativity flavor as pure copy of LRMB. The narration is very slow.
Music by Devi Sree Prasad is good and re-recording is also good.
Comedy by Venu Madhav, Brahmanadam, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam is not up to the expectations of the mega fans.,
. Finally , this is the film with a great message .It is very difficult for the mass audiences to take in. This is not for the audience who expects love, action and sentiments from Megastar. The film mainly deals with Ahimsa (non-violence), difficult subject for today's society and at the same time needful and useful story.
