Ganguly has just looked a bit scratchy here today. He has been troubled with the short pitched stuff by the English bowlers. He is looking to rotate the strike and in the process has escaped runouts on a few occasions. He has also been seen barging down the track. Sachin is doing the right thing here by constantly talking to him and calming him down. Interesting contest in the offing here.

7.1 Anderson to Ganguly, no run, short of length, on the off stump line, Ganguly pushes it to mid off and sets off for a run before he suddenly decides it is too risky. He sends Tendulkar back and all is well.

3.6 Anderson to Tendulkar, 1 run, on the middle and leg, worked away to long leg for a single. That was some over. Tendulkar was beaten thrice and in between, he put away two loose deliveries.
3.5 Anderson to Tendulkar, no run, beaten. Lovely comeback from Anderson. This one lands on a length, just outside off stump and holds its line. Tendulkar pushes inside the line and is beaten by the straightening of the delivery.
3.4 Anderson to Tendulkar, FOUR, Another one. Not so full this time, but drifting on to the middle and leg line, Tendulkar lets the ball arrive before flicking it away past square leg.
3.3 Anderson to Tendulkar, FOUR, Ah! the perfect response. Fuller and on the off and middle line, Tendulkar leans forward to wrist it away past square leg.
3.2 Anderson to Tendulkar, no run, And again. Lovely stuff from Anderson. Again on a good length, outside off and curving away, Tendulkar leans forward, shapes to chase it before withdrawing the bat at the last minute.
3.1 Anderson to Tendulkar, no run, beaten. Anderson gets one swinging away outside off stump and Tendulkar lunges at it, a touch late in getting forward, and the ball teases the outside edge.
