A shocking day of cricket for India. First the batsmen failed to fire well enough but what was more shocking was the way in which the bowlers bowed down after having reduced England to 114/7. We also saw some uninspiring captaincy from Rahul Dravid and that hurt India the most. Removing Agarkar from the attack when he was breathing fire in the second spell was absolutely ridiculous. Not to forget there was some really sloppy fielding by the Indians and they really allowed Bopara and Broad to settle down. They batted beautifully indeed and did an extremely wonderful job. I'll be interested to see if the Indians continue with the 5 bowlers theory after giving away over 800 runs in the last three games with the part timers bowling in every match despite five specialist bowlers. This combination simply doesn't work for India and I do not think any team in World Cricket plays with 5 specialist bowlers. That is something that the Indian think tank has to take a call on. We will know better in the 5th ODI which is to be played in two days time.
