The long brewed cold war between Mohan Babu and Chiranjeevi has crystallized caste groups in Telugu Film Industry.
The feud between the two snowballed with the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations. Though Mohan Babu appeared alone when criticized Chiranjeevi in the celebrations, many stars from his community (Kamma)later mustered their support to him. Recently Nagarjuna agreed to give his special appearance in his son's film.
Mohan Babu himself played the title role in Jr. NTR's Yamagola. All these gestures indicate that his community is getting united against Chiru's Community (Kapu). The elders from Kamma community strongly feel they have regained their hold on the industry now. They ask all the stars of their community not to let the grip go.
