DARREN REVIEW ON CHANDAMAMA
Firstly balls to all hero fans.dont watch this film if you think you are x fan and you cannot watch y film or you are z fan and cannot watch w film. watch this film are a film as chandamama
Went on Sunday could not get tickets. Again on Monday headed to Imax all tickets sold out. Could not resist to watch navadeep , From there went to x roads main theatre. All tickets were sold out by 7.45. Bought my ticket in black for 90 bucks.
Anyway reason to watch this movie : navadeep ,Krishna vamshi & of course actress of the film
Story : a regular fare. father and daughter relationship but has slight variation in the story (but in this film it depicts true telugu traditions and values was shot differently under the domination of telugu tradition and values
Acting : navadeep was cool in his looks and his current youth dressing , though few gay antics in few scenes. Shiv balaji was neat & good. Both actress were over action esp sindhu menon with her screaming often , i found sindhu cute than kajal
Note : so much glow in navadeep face with his cat eyes. His dressing is like true blue urban globalize dog.
Music : rocking in 2 songs and very few scenes (bg score was very nice) otherwise rest of the film it’s an indianized tradition mix
VERY SPECIAL MENTION: 2 fabulous songs (the way they are shot)
Nalo voohalaku - simply superb that way it was shot. Totally urbanized scenes and shot in the city of Hyderabad. Shot in monochromatic blue @ times. Bike shots were fabulous. Navadeep was super cool esp on bike and so kajal in the song
(very romantic song) Some shots in night are alluring
IAM TOTALLY MESMARISED BY THE WAY THIS SONG WAS SHOT & COLOUR COMPOSITION. I swear on my balls I shall buy the dvd of chandamana for this particular song. One of the best songs in recent times for the way it was shot
after watching this song one can strongly feel the desire to have a girl friend
HATS OF THE KRISHNA VAMSHI BRAIN for the way he shot Nalo vuhalake. KRISHNA VAMSHI king of romantic songs
Mukkupai mudupettu – intimate song. Nice , though background settings are historical tradition. Some shots are very intimate and sexy
NOTE : thought there are few boring scenes in the film and also navadeep introduction was not that exciting ,I did not like the way navadeep was introduced , Yet one can enjoy comedy scenes
Overall. One can watch this movie for a change with out any expectations of elements of commercial or mass masala film. Perhaps one can watch this film with an attitude like ok it came we have seen and forget it after a while.
Lastly this movie is ok , but not so great nor not so bad, You can watch it once < trust me this movie is far better than many violent or senseless junk telugu films that have come over the years.
FINAL NOTE : by watching this film one wont die or think his money or time is wasted. You can give it a shot esp for that song Nalo voohalaku which was shot superb
