processor lo cache is a key factor for prices and naming. E2130 is with 1MB cache. Min 2MB is good.
so try the next deal i posted. if you want to spend more for upgrade on 200 itself, go for it. Otherwise I suggest going with the second deal! |

you need to shell out another 40 for CD-RW drive. it comes with DVD-ROM only.
also the Chip is 1MB Cache. 2MB cache ki upgrade costs.. 30 bucks.

mama. good. kenesyyi. i still feel.. HDD upgrade waste. reasons, battery usage high for 7200RPMs and huge cost for extra Gig. I suggest go with 5400s as all of us living with it. |

mama.. dont buy Laptop with 160GB, 200GB hard disk. it is pure waste to spend so much for HDD upgrade.
I always suggest.. buying 250GB 2.5 inch external for 130.00 bucks. this way you can have safe external backup. It can be carried with the laptop all the time. |

6 cell is pretty decent. you dont have to upgrade battery. battery is covered only for 1 year by any manufacturer. same with ibm.
Yes, you can add 3 yr warranty for 90 bucks.. which is excellent price. IF you check Dell the same service costs 200.00+ dollars.
I am using T42 bought by kalkio for me last 2.5 yrs back.. till now i never had issue and never had to call IBM service. I bought 3 three yr next business day warranty for 200.00 at that time.
I suggest you go with the below config and also adding 3 yr service.
Also check carrying cases in IBM. They are very cheap. the least one comes for 18 bucks. backpak 30. |

dell is economy and cheap and your laptop life is just 1 yr and more depending on the build.
Thinkpad - minimum 3 three years and you can sell it again like toyota/honda in ebay with prices around 400+ for three year old laptops. never gives any trouble.
decent performance even if you use 24X7. |
