Every actor has a passion for directing a film. But this passion comes to the fore only after the actor’s film becomes a hit. Till then you can’t publicise your intentions bcoz no one cares.
Oka actor’s film becomes a hit and he is labelled a star. Now he dreams of making it big by directing a film. He picks up half a dozen to eight people and calls them the creative team. The creative team could be anyone from the 24 Frames.
The actor, sorry the star takes them home every week ends and makes them do drill, all kinds of exercises, dances. Meanwhile he climbs on the ‘ataka’ and shoots them with his cam for around 20 minutes, obviously all angles kosam. But why’s he doing all this? He can pick some steps, body language, expressions etc for his directorial debut.
Next, work over he goes to some potted plants and creepers in his garden. He speaks to them, starts weeping if he notices a plant wither. But who’s he?

Coming to the point, let me share this with you. Saturday at the break of dawn I had four uninvited guests at home. Two faces were familiar out of the four. One was Raju, Mohan Babu’s Fans President, the other journalist Umashankar and the rest introduced themselves as Sarpanch of a village in Cuddapah and other from the same place but a fan of NTR (Sr).
I must say all of them had been extremely warm and dignified and I pity them for the pressure they were put through to come here. They had their job to do. One said before leaving, “meeru kaabatti abhimanam tho votchaamu”.
The purpose of revealing this part of the conversation is to show what a veiled attack is. I called Mohan Babu and informed him and he said he was ’shocked’ by this news. He nevertheless condemned this visit and said it shouldn’t have taken place and added,”if you want an interview or help(?) call me but don’t ever call me to inform that so and so people have come to your house to warn you etc etc, if you have such a problem go to the police station and complain. I have nothing to do with it.” Yes, he also said his sons will never even think of doing such things.
