thanks for the advice. 
its not bitterness towards his growth. i expressed anger on his lack of respect to fellow colleagues as we moved up in the company. we both batch mates and he gave me training, he used to just train and nothing else. at that time we were his friends. later he moved to different office and become manager for some practice. we met later in many occasions as i was part of a leadership program. when my friends and i tried to wish and talk, he ignored us. we thought it is ok.
later he conducted few programs which i was part of the team. he tried to disrespect our division people just for the sake he started with us and he does not want to befriend with same group again. he continuosly shown his cunning nature throughtout his time. our so called leaders dont understand, but we know it very well as first hand exp. |

regional solution manager ante, i never seen in our unit.. division lo oka senior technical consultant/principal consultant type lo vuntaru.. VP ki support group lo vundi.. PMs tho direct contacts lo vuntaru. but i am not sure where it falls to.
ur involvement will be either at RFP writing level or pre sales proof of concept building level lo vuntundi dealing directly with client facing sales team and VP. some times gathering all the information for RFP or writing RFP on your own.
OR
if you are just a technical expert in the division with no direct teams below u. andaru anthaga pattinchukoru.. alantappdu chaala effective deal cheyyali teams ni as if you just landed from MARS talking all hi-fi funda and blab blah wearing tie. you should present you are a huge contributor to division helping all teams.

most of the non-top-ten companies does engineering (software dev) work which is above the BPO in value chain (by which I mean margins to company) but below business consulting.
Its only now that firms like Infy and Tcs are venturing into high margin business consulting to compete with Accenture, Capgemini's of the world. I would love to see indian firms beat them at their game.
may be i am a bit naive here but that is what I believe they are doing with the new consulting practice divisions.
so this rules out a majority of the soft/hardware engineering based firms in hyd. |

hemu: nee time accenture ki pay and work wise good since it was just establishing and had not much pressure. now it is a different story. in accenture also people have to work late and it is strugging with poor management in some divisions. this feedback is from employee itself. i everyday work with those folks.. and they have to stay in office 10 pm minimum.
also the satyam pay when you joined also was best in satyam. aa HR vaadu correct ee annadi. now satyam blocked all email transmit to public domaian accounts. you can not send/receive mail from yahoo/gmail/hotmail. it sucks even more in terms of employee freedom and usage. |

ippudu touch poindi guru.. update info ledu.. ask some experts who moved recently. 
work wise: infy, wipro, tcs and satyam .. makes no difference. infy top IT ani cuttings dexugaatdu.. but work wise it is more painful to deal with as the people you are handling are top notch guys and they demand huge pro skills. Moreover it is difficult to get good pay hikes. Wipro/satyam are more are less equal in terms of management and you can handle it easily as you have enough support units for evrything. TCS is individualstic.. avoid it at any cost. All companies demand lot of people skills rather than sales and marketing efforts.
time wise: everyone expects u to work late hours and it is mandatory for US client as you have US people walk in to office around that time and u have to arrange calls at 9 PM ish IST. you can not avoid this in INDIA. One way to compensate it to stay near work.. 10 to 15 mins drive. that you dont feel pain of going back to home. |
