I am not supporting desi companies but I don't like indian MNCs. Only reason I am with a desi employer is GC and he atleast gave me what he promised.

TCS lo kontha mandi acct managers naku telsu. Vallu cheppina incident: memphis lo oka proj ki 5-6 members bid chesaru. Andaru chesina rate kanna, tcs 1/4 rate ki chesindy..thats how they get most of their projects and they were confident that they are going to get this one as well. Finally, their propsal was rejected..the client gave these reasons:

I work in a practice where billing rate is 250.00 per hour just sitting my next desk doing the same thing. I dont even get paid 100 dollars to my employer for the same or more work I am doing. Do you know why? It is cheap desi consultant labor.
I understand your frustration and feeling. I too have many, but the problem do not lie with MNCs. IT is US. We want to screw up each other as much as possible. |

Even now........ many comapnies pay huge billing rate.. it is our indian consultants greedy neess and fucked practices screwed up the industry. Go and ask every top consulting company. if you are from desi consultant, they offer damn stupid rate when comapred to an american doing the same consulting.
Even many indian consultants itself fear of our own counterparts for their deceptive practices to reduce the billing using multi layer vendor system to take huge share in billing and paying pennies to the employer. Screwing up employee in the end by taking his share even before. |

Do you Cisco capped all Onshore and off shore billing? everyone in the world sucking it up as much as possible. Why blame it on MNCs?
For desi consultant how much he is getting at the end of the day to his pocket and how much benifits he is been getting?
Dont just give one bullet point and cry.. look at the picture on economic and industry perspective. |

Reports have shown some confusion on the Grassley Amendment that proposed supplemental fee of $3,5000. This fee will be charged, if the conference committee agrees to this part of the bill which the Senate passed, to H-1B petitions. Accordingly, under the bill, the employer will be required to pay the following amount if they employ more than 25 workers:
$1,500 American Worker Training Fee ($750 if employs 25 or less employees)
