Balakrishna's Okka Magadu is unlikely to face any competition. As of now, no big film has announced its release dates for Sankranthi. That means, the next pongal is going to be Balakrishna's. Okka Magadu is fast finishing its shooting. By November 21st, the film's entire shooting part will be completed. Okka Magadu, directed and produced by YVS, is releasing with a massive number of prints on January 11, 2007.
Though a section of media wrote that Pawan Kalyan's Jalsa might release on January 14th, the inside reports indicate it is unlikely to complete its shooting by then.
The other possible biggies to compete with Okka Magadu are M S Raju's Vaana (it is slated for January 14th release) and Ravi Teja and V V Vinayak film. But given the fact that Vinayak had bad experience with Yogi, he might not compete this Sankranthi.
