Judgement
The film Don is not worth waiting in a queue, purchase a ticket, sit in the theatre and feel miserable. One gets the feeling that after shooting the fights and songs, a meager attempt had been made to carve out a story, merely to connect the song and fight sequences. The final result is a hotchpotch of sketchy vignettes.
The credits for Don can be written as: story, screenplay, music, choreography, direction and audience by Raghava Lawrence.

Don which released in Nizam area to a hysterical start. Lawrence, who directs the flick, played the role of hero's (Nagarjuna) brother. In the first half, Lawrence too holds out a high-profile introduction shot for himself, leave alone the hero. Again, you have seperate introductions for both the hero and villain. A couple of songs and stunts were shown in a stylish fasion, as was already said by the Don team. However, the fans cried foul at Lawrence' non-serious handling of the entertainment. The comedy department too has no grip in the first half |
