i mean the initial 3, his episode 1, 2 sucked bigtime although watchable for graphics but not close to the beauty of first 3.

when star wars was relaeased it release as followng:

first release was episode 4, next episode 5, next episode 6, next episode 1, next episode 2.

Director was a clever guy, hesaid he didnot have the technology to make first 3 parts so started with the 4 part, after 20 years he started making 1, 2 & 3.

The Hunt for Red October - Drama
The Enemy Below
and Torpedo Alley ??? - very old movie - dont remember.

All of them are classics. Das Boot,Run Silent are realistic. U571 and the Enemy Below are about U Boats. Crimson Tide, Red October are feel-good movies.

My picks are greatest captaions inthese movies are
Jurgen Prochnow (Der Alte) and ofcourse Harrison FOrd as (Vostrikov) in K19.

Sixth Sense started a new genre - but I think Manoj's best work is undoubtedly the village.

I think RAussel Crowe deserved an Oscar for his extraordinary performace in " The Beutiful Mind" as opposed to a "Roman with Australian accent" role as Claudius Maximus Decimus.

As for the " The Beautiful Mind" and "Gladiator" - both of them were just nomination-worthy for the "Best Picture" category - but not win-worthy. But again, that is just my opinion.

BTW, I have a suggestion for you - A boring film on th outset - ut an excelloent way of presenting something _ I was very impressed with the screenplay.

Check out Bob Redford's "The Clearing".

Don, I thought the same till I watched American Beauty - that movie shook me up at different levels and think it really deserved the award. Sixth sense was quite unique for its time but american beauty is much more deep and fulfilling

We may be able to erase the memories from one's mind, but cant erase the feelings of the heart. This is what I think is the theme of Eternal sunshine. In the movie, though decaprio and kate get their memories erased, they still feel the chemistry between them.

YUP. Nenu US ki vachhaka choosina first movie idhi. Wow anipinchindhi. The movie's theme relates to much more than what we see on the screen. Though the entire movie takes place in a hospital.. the theme releates to every section of our society.

get the unlimited movies offer from BB...they are the cheapest as of now and just queue your movies. IMDB top 250 of all time is a pretty good place to start.
