I am New to alexa Ranking . because i never account this for increase in ranking of Google SErps. But one of my client ask to increase the Alexa ranking of his site than his competetors 's site . But i never think of Alexa rank in my SEo work.
Please Suggest yours View and Help me by telling about the alexa rank importatnce in respect of achieving good rank in Serps of Google. And How could i increase the Alexa rank of My client site

Alexa rankings are not relevant. They come from users of the Alexa toolbar, so the selection of users is biased toward those who download the toolbar, often webmasters.
Alexa rankings are ridiculously easy to improve. Just install the toolbar and visit his site daily. Rankings will improve, depending on how much you do this.
Alexa rank has nothing to do with Google rank
