Buzz is that NTR’s latest film, Narasinhudu, is the costliest film in the recent times. The film’s budget went haywire and is said to have crossed Rs 20 Crores. Producer Chengala Venkat Rao spent huge amounts just for getting right script. He first bought the story written by Vijayendra Prasad but when NTR was not satisfied with it post- Samba, they have hired several writers to dish out. And finally they zeroed in Saikumar brother's Ravishanker's story.
And Chengala also lavishly spent on film production to deliver a huge hit.
The film directed by B Gopal has Sameera Reddy and Amisha Patel as heroines – both had taken a bomb as the remuneration. And Arthi Agarwal who is doing item song in the film also costed him dearily. The film is getting released on NTR’s birthday - 20th this month (in the case of unexpected hurdle it might release on 28th).
Producer Chengala Venkat Rao is planning to release the film on his own across the state. If he gets 'right amount', he may sell off some areas.
Not every thing in the above said is false I guess?
Isn't CVR taking too much of a risk by releasing the movie all by himself? or is he super confident? |
