Sameera Reddy may have some bad news for glamour chasers.
The pretty pout has made it clear that she wouldn't like to continue with her bare-and-dare all style.
The girl, who is the rage in Tollywood (her Narasimhudu is getting ready for release while her Jai Chiranjeeva is under shoot), has told the Mumbai media that "I have taken a conscious decision to shift from sexy roles.
I have turned down quite a few roles that project me like that. Even earlier, I had never planned on having a sexy image."
Though she said that in the context of Bollywood movies, it should also hold true for her Telugu foray.
Sounding as if she was reading from the Book of Cliches, Sameera says "I decided to do roles which are more performance-oriented. I want to do a mix of everything.
I want to do roles that project me in the right light. I also want to do an offbeat film once in while. It satisfies the creative soul." Ahem!
Meanwhile, Sameera seems to have split with her long-time friend, filmmaker Sanjay Gupta. |
