Just finished this little gem of a laugh machine. Simple and striking...the quickie has some of the most deliciously wicked sense of humour seen in recent times. For those of you from the IITs this should be one roll of nostalgia and for the rest like yours truly who never made it a mile close to the hallowed portals, it is a revelation on the torture chamber called the IIT. The book manages to strip the halo around the institute by providing a humorous insight into life at the IIT in general (where ragging means having coke bottles thrust in your rear) and what goes behind those high GPAs in particular (endless hours of mugging) . A must if you enjoy an irreverent look at life and if you can endure some stomach aching fits of laughter. |
