yes, these industries will generate some jobs. But I don't think govt should start these. Instead it should encourage private parties.

I don't think this is really possible. If we open the market now(when our prices are low), the agri products of west will still flood our market(ofcourse their govts give lot of subsidies which we cannot match). so I don't think this is really feasible.

What I mean is people as more and more people move towards job, other who can afford should be allowed to buy.

2) farmers should be allowed to own more agriculture land something like 100 acres.
3) tax evasion by the rich should be stopped and some of this money should be diverted to farmers.

thindike gathi ledu ante ekkada own cheyyagalaru mama? and i've seen many farmers having < 4 acres are selling off their land for chap rates compared to their value 10 years back.....and leaving to cities in search of work |

more and more farmers are comitting suicides. can life of farmer improve and when???
The first thing everyone should understand is most of the farmers in AP are small farmers with less than 4 acres of land. And the income they get will not be more than 50-60k per year if they have decent crop. And in the last 10 years, many many farmers had poor crop. with such low income, no family can live decent life. The income of labour who work on these fields is still lower. so what is the solution.
Many say finishing water project is the solution. Yes, water projects should be constructed, but this is very small part of the much bigger solution because as said above, the income will not be more than 50-60k if they have decent crop.
So what are the solutions????
My feeling is
1) The govt should develop service industry which creates lot of jobs, thereby reducing people dependent on agriculture.
2) farmers should be allowed to own more agriculture land something like 100 acres.
3) tax evasion by the rich should be stopped and some of this money should be diverted to farmers.
What do you say guys.....
