NRI'S to Exhibitors, Exhibitors to Distributors on NRI
Non resident of Indian become exhibitor on fantasy of movies in the impression of getting some extra income apart from the self elevation of turning as exhibitor from movie lover. Exhibitor become distributor to prevent losing money in exhibition and to get more fame and name on websites. Ultimately all of them are investing their hard earned money (after taxes) on NRI ( Non Refundable Investment). Most of us know and should remember that our Telugu Maha Kavi of Maha Prasthanam Sri Sri words " Thalli matalu chevina pettaka Pattanam lo Brathukudamani Bayalu derina batasariki yentha kashtam Yentha kashtam". Just because of interest and fantasy buying movies for their regions in overseas - America and Asia pacific - with top and higher rates. These rates are sky-scraping in 2006 on race of distributors as no one know the reason why this much rate hike on rights recently. Some of the distributors quoted two times greater than the Producer expected in order to get the world wide rights. Please note that I am not saying stop buying movies or do not distribute telugu movies at all or offend the distributors. It is just a request to self analyze each and every exhibitor/distributor as NRI's
"We all know that all the movies are not Block busters or not Industry hits". NRI Away from home, Away from family and friends, Away from his Motherland, in a new country, who Works harder, smarter and transfers his knowledge to the local work force and is considered and is a true organization asset of the country of his residence ultimately loses money in distribution /exhibition in a such a way as in Sri Sri Words – Mabbu Patti Gali kotti Vana vasthey Varadha vasthey baYam vesthey ……..batasariki Yenth kashtam Yentha kashtam - "Cinema vesthey,loss vasthey, dabbulu pothey,appu chesthey…..Parayi desamlo brathukudamani bayalu derina NRI ki yentha kashtam yentha kashtam."
Dear all distributors/exhibitors we are spending so much money to distribute/exhibit. Please make as a union, think as an NRI , prevent quoting high prices and predict loss of money.
Hope I have not offended anybody ... taking the limitation into the consideration I sincerely urge all the movie distributors to start thinking about this matter....
