Pappam .. I feel these theatres have been victims of Dr Drag Star ,so the only way from him is by screening Blue films .

Bad Time For 'Erotic' Films :
Now the time for sex education films is not encouraging. Earlier, many films used to hit theaters as dubbing versions from Malayalam. There were times when theaters used to hit with stampedes when Kamasutra, Divine Lovers and Body of Evidence were released. But now, people are less inclined to go to theaters and watch the films as erotic stuff is available at cheaper cost in the form of CDs and through internet. Many people are now accessible for Cds to watch the film of their choice.
Earlier, the small time producers used to make big money by releasing such erotic films in regional languages, by taking dubbing and distribution rights. As the cost of production was very less, margins used to work well. Hence, small producers used to tend a lot for such films.
Now, with the onset of Cds, such films are losing importance in theaters. Lamba Theater in Hyderabad used to run with houseful collections till 5 years ago. But now, the traffic is turning less day by day.
