sinna2. h1b masters cap is subject to lottery provided they receive 20,000 plus on the 5 business days (up to apr 7th).
if not enough then 20,000 by default all masters h1b petitions will be IN.
if enough received than 20,000 then a masters h1b lottery is taken and 20,000 GO IN.
remaining masters will be then clubbed with regular 65,000 and then again normal lottery held.
65,000 picked will be IN.
masters people have 2 lottery chances,
ordinary h1b will have 1 lottery.
if all the categories receive all enough petetions , then INS will stop taking petetions from 6th business day. |
