is a south Indian actor who started his film career through Sekhar Kammula's film Happy Days (Movie, 2007, Telugu).
He is the grandson of famous Telugu writer Ramachandra Murthy, who worked for All India Radio for 28 years in Hyderabad - a well recognized voice through out AP during 1972 - 2000. Sandesh lives in USA with his parents and sister. He has a bright future with his charming good looks. The famous producer Dil Raju has signed Sandesh for his next movie Kotha Bangaru Lokam, this is supposed to be directed by a new director. His Sister is also waiting in the wings to showcase her talent in the field of singing.
His uncle Sridhar is a popular Telugu TV personality in Hyderabad, India.
Sandesh used to attend Bridgewater High School in Bridgewater, NJ.
The film was dubbed in Malayalam and released in 24 centres across Kerala.

* Parts of the movie were shot in MGIT (Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology) college of CBIT.
* For the first time in the history of Telugu film industry, a Telugu movie first released in USA and then in India.[citation needed]
* For the first time in the Film history[citation needed] , the main lead of a movie was selected via internet without any direct Audition. Varun Sandesh , who played the Chandu character, did not meet anyone of the Happy Days Production team. He sent his photographs in email responding to idlebrain.com ad and then sent the video clipping of the scenes he was asked to act along with a song through Google Video and was confirmed for the lead role.
* The movie was released with 11 prints overseas on September 28, 2007.
* The movie played in the Prasads IMax Theater (Hyderabad) for over 100 days.[citation needed]
