Yerrabelli attributed his success to the welfare measures initiated by the former chief minister and TDP supremo during the nine-year-long rule. "It is only Mr Naidu's initiate in various projects that helped me wrest the seat from the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in the bypolls," he explained.
The fruits of these welfare measures launched during the TDP regime have reached the people, he said and expressed confidence that his party will romp home in the State in the coming general election. "The TDP will win majority of seats in the next elections and we will form the next government," he added.
