While it is nobodys brief that Sakshi is an impartial, objective newspaper, the article itself is a deeply flawed partisan piece. The fundamental assumption of the article that Eenadu's reporting is the baseline for "Truth" vis-a-vis Sakshi can be deemed as the villain is patently false. It would be downright silly to even deny Eenadu's close association with the TDP and Naidu and for that matter his close links with non-Congress politicians of various hues. There a lot of well founded speculation about the benefits Mr Ramoji Rao reaped from his close association with the TDP. A lot of his group companies have faced the heat from a hostile YSR while they were able to avoid any scrutiny under a friendly government. Just like Sakshi, Eenadu too has been extremely selective and scant in its coverage of corruption and nepotism under Naidu. Chandra Babu and Eenadu are getting a taste of the same medicine they administered their political and business rivals. The author conveniently avoids mentioning Chandra Babu's extremely close ties with Vemuri Radhakrishna, the Managing Director of Andhra Jyothy. Some of the members without even looking into the facts try to associate people and scold indiscreminately and get into personal abuse and divert the topic. Their goal is simple... abuse people without even knowing what it was and who they are just based on a personal opinion.
Irrespective of the topic, situation and context, they just conclude everything to a single issue and act up on it. I feel sad for the way they comprehend and act on it.
One example was: last month someone opened a thread on alternative power business and i posted personal experience and things I have seen. They later told that just because they hate the govt, they are venting anger in that way.... without even knowing what I was talking about and they talk about what I am without knowing me on what my capacity on personal front.
Did I ever make any such comment on any member so far on their abilities and strengths. |

Just curious. I think you are playing Devil's advocate here. I am not sure if you are really anti- CBN, Eenadu, AJ, etc. I feel that you are just trying to make people look at the other side. Rightaa? Wrongaaaa?
Oka vela venting frustration aithe is it against the people who post crap here or the crappy politicians and entrepreneurs of AP?
First of all, irrespective of these govts... I was pointing out the journalism standards of eenadu and AJ since 10 years.. after entering into DB also, I used to post the way Eenadu projects and dejects people. This was nothing to do with this DB. People think that I hate Eenadu and AJ just because they are supporting CBN and etc. It is one of them.. not the core issue. The character assasination of Eenadu exists ever since I realized the politics and I had written article in India Today and it was published.
Regarding using the words on CBN and Ramoji is just to show people how react to filthy language references other person feel the same when the person they hate or scold have the same feelings on them. It is not frustration or not to scold people in this DB. |

Yes. I think US financial sector has long ways to go before this ends. Few more banks may go under. I think it will take at least another 6 months before all this is over.
Regarding Ag sector, just look at today's Eenadu. There are two main page stories about Fertilizer shortage and riots in Karnataka about the same issue. I think this sector will do well even in overall down trend. Also US dept. of agriculture issued a report yesterday saying that the overall corn production will be way less than the expected levels this year due to heavy rains. |
