Sorry for the late response and follow up on the help we committed to the student for lost hand. It took a while for my brother to co-ordinate with reporter, the student (Gopal Krishna) and hospital that provides artifical hand and leg. Hospital quoted 90000.00 for the treatment. Hospital mentioned that it will start treatment if we pay advance to order artifical hand from UK.
With the following contributions:
esperanza - Europe: 2000.00 Rs
Prasanth Kumar - India: 2000.00 Rs
pda: 53 USD
Chip : 30.00 USD
TI : 75.00 USD
Rajesh and Friends: 275.00 USD
I have contributed the remaining.
Last week my brother handed over check to Gopal Krishna check for 40000.00. Even though my brother insisted not to publish photo, the reporting staff insisted and published an article with phone for the same.

We also handed over Rs 2000.00 check in July at the time of initial discussions for his college expenses. In total we paid 42000.00 Rs to him so far. Once the treatment is complete, we will come to know the remaining amount.
I am working on pooling up remaining fund (50000) through friends and I am also committed to contribute remaining amount depending on the contributions.
I want to thank you all for the timely contribution and I will update any progress as I hear from them.
