Bhavani:it wont create a new sheet, correct me if I am wrong...
My bad I was wrong, if the text/csv file is already created, then Excel will not create another sheet to open.. it will open the file with data till the limit rows |

ela cheppali mama...60k varake ani...Query lo rownum < 60001 annanu..kani still it getting more than 60K rows. maa office lo okadu chepthunnadu..more than 60K unte it will create another sheet in xls ani..naku ala raaledu..file save ayyaka open chesthunte can't read the file ani error vasthundi..so vadu oka test di run chesi vadu save chesthunnadu vaadi PC lo.. |

Use top n query to retrieve first 60k rows, Spool to *.csv, and dump them into excel. Run the query to pull 61k-120k and spool to *.csv file and dump them into excel.
Tough times never last but tough people do.

nenu oka sql query run chesanu..output around 120K lines. kaani xls file limit around 64K. so TOAD nunchi xls file ki save antunte limit ayipoya save cheyyalekapothundi...limit ayipoyaka automatic ga output ni inkoka xls file loki save chese option unda? idi kanaka lekapothe nenu oka package raayali..raasi output ni csv files loki raasela chodali  konchem ee toad di help cheyyandi..naa time chaala save avuthundi.. |
