Geoff Lawson, the former Pakistan coach: “It's hard to know from a distance whether this is an attack from Pakistani militants, or a reaction to the Tamil situation in Sri Lanka. It is so complicated. We were in Toronto for a tournament which involved Sri Lanka and there were more than a hundred angry protesters and a Cessna plane flying over head with a banner saying, 'Stop the genocide.' But who knows what the motivation for this attack is? The bottom line is that it's a horrendous event.

They came to power with Many issues kashmir, pak etc etc,
what we had was a Pathatic BUS to PAK and Musharaf raise and Kargil war, Loos of indian soldiers , Corruption, Poor weapons and falling MIGS like mosquitos's |

March 3, 2009
A terrorist attack near the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore has put a question mark over the second Test being played there between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. A top security official told reporters five armed terrorists attacked the convoy surrounding the Sri Lankan team bus and five policemen were killed.
The shoot out occured at Lahore's Liberty market as the team was on it's way to the stadium. According to television reports, Sri Lanka's security team was targeted. The third day of the Lahore Test is scheduled to begin at 10.00 am.
