Don't compare gas prices with those in UK. they are always high relatively due to very high taxes.
let's take Rs.50 per litre. ippudu Brent crude is around $49 per barrel same as WTI crude (bench mark for North American markets). So there is no price disparity there.
Ikkada Canada lo gas price vachi around 85 cents per litre. assuming Rs.40 per CAD$ the price per litre petrol is about Rs.34
India lo Rs. 50 per litre ayithe, govt subsidize yekkada chesinattu?? Probably they are subsidizing Diesel and kerosene at the expense of Petrol users. |
