Please don't neglect assuming that everything is fine. This is honest suggestion always monitor your kid and if he is having high temperature please take him to the hospital whenever this happens.
Same to same na fried kid ki ayyindhi he used to get throat infection and fever, everytime the doctors use to say it is normal in this age( kid age was 1.5 years due to cold weather. But sudden gaa oka roju white cells kottesayi annaru within hours lo airlift chesaru Major children hospital in UK ki thesukellaru elaga survive ayyado a devudeke theliyali. Docotors see him as their own kid as the doctors over there could not save a child for the past couple of years and his was a miracle annaru.

gudi mama,, I started reading and then I was reading fast to read word "FINE", there is no problem, when I read that, I really felt happy.. Choked for a while
I totally understand the situation. My collegue's daughter in ex company passed away suffering from cancer. I watched their family very closely last year.. She was one very beautiful cure little girl..
From that day onwards, I have been going thru many questions in and about life.

I thought the same. He is Indian too. He should have simply told her that it's a routine blood work and we will see after 2 days.
He told me today that he debated before asking that question about family history but he need to find out to rule out that possibility.
One thing I realised in this whole episode. Money, job and other comforts mean nothing when you hit with something like this. You will see life in a different perspective. This incident will have a profound influence on me and my wife for the rest of our lives, that's for sure. |

These last two days are the worst days of life. I wish NO PARENT would have to go through what we had been in the last two days.
My 6 yr old boy is getting sick with fever and throat infection in the last couple of months which is not uncommon in school going kids but he got three times over the last two months. My wife took him to the family doctor on Monday after-noon. I was at work and got a phone call around 2.30 PM from my wife. Her voice is trembling and I noticed right away that something is not alright. She said that we need to take our son to some blood tests and X-ray. I said that it must be a routine check and why are you worried so much. Then she started crying. Doctor asked her whether some one in the family has Leukemia and he need to check my son to rule out that possibility. It hit me like a hot blow on my face. My wife's own uncle (mother's brother) was diagnosed with the same last year.
I left the office immediately, took my son for the tests. It will take two days for the lab to send the results to the doctor. You would not imagine what we have been through the last two days. It's gut wrenching, nerve wrecking experience. We hardly ate or sleep in the last two days. My wife was crying continuously for the last two days. I put a bold face in front of the family but cried in private.
Finally we got to see the doctor this after-noon. There was an hour wait at doctor's office. Probably my blood pressure would have been all time high in that one hr.
We met the doctor just an hour ago and he looked at the reports and said that the BOY is absolutely FINE and everything is normal. Nothing to worry, there may be some allergies and we will figure out later with some other tests.
I need to drink hard tonight. I felt like a ton of weight is just removed from my chest.
I wish NO ONE, NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY would have to go through this kind of emotional roller coaster ever in life. |
