Naidu begins attack on Day 2 itself:

It was not even 48 hours since Y S Rajasekhara Reddy departed to heaven, Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu started attacking the government, in his typical way.

Naidu, who along with several ministers and leaders could not reach Idupulapaya estate to pay last respects to YSR, because they were stranded in heavy traffic, went hammer and tongs against the government for not making arrangements for them to reach the destination. “What was the government doing? Does it not have the responsibility to see that important leaders and ministers reach Idupulapaya well in advance and safely? If they could not make arrangements for us, why did they bring us here? It is a complete failure on the part of Kadapa district administration and the police,” he said.

Naidu wondered why the authorities could not arrange helicopter for Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy, while doing so for Director General of Police S S P Yadav to Idupulapaya? “Was the DGP more important than the Home Minister, who was dearer to the departed leader?” he asked.
