Aadi strikes gold. The star who shot to fame with his animalistic histrionics in Mrigam has bagged lead role in Ram Gopal Varma’s magnum opus, Rakta Charitra. Aadi is son of senior director Raviraja Pinishetty and his original name is Pradeep Pinishetty. He acted in recently in Shankar produced Tamil film, Eeram too. Rakta Charitra is going to be bi g break for him as it is directed by maverick Ram Gopal Varma and he also gets chance to act with Tamil top hero Surya for the first time.
Rakta Charitra has Vivek Oberai and Tamil actor Surya in the lead roles for Hindi version. While in Telugu version, Aadi will be doing Vivek’s role. That means he plays the role of Paritala Ravi on whose life the film is based on. Surya remains the same in both the languages. Rakta Charita is going to be trendsetter, as it would be released in two parts within short gap. The first version will be focused on Paritala Ravi (Aadi will have lead in the first portion), while second version is driven by Ravi’s alleged killer (Surya takes lead in the second portion).
Regular shoot commences from October 10th in Hyderabad, Anantapur and other places in Andhra Pradesh.

Mohan Babu to play NTR in 'Rakta Charitra'

Senior actor Mohan Babu is all set to work with maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma for the first time. According to sources, Ram Gopal Varma approached Mohan Babu for a crucial role to play in his next magnum opus, Rakta Charitra. Mohan Babu might do the role of Late NTR in this political saga. Rakta Charitra is to be shot in both Telugu and Hindi simultaneously and Mohan Babu is roped in for the Telugu version, while veteran Bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha is going to enact the same role in Hindi version.
Rakta Charitra has Vivek Oberai and Tamil actor Surya in the lead roles for Hindi version. While in Telugu version, a Telugu actor will be doing Vivek’s role. Surya remains the same in both the languages.
