If you are planning to donate new clothes or money, please consider buying Opco Sarees and Opco clothes.
They cost < Rs. 100 a pair and at the end of the day, generates more employment for our Chenetha karmikulu.

Dear associates,
Need of the Hour – help the needy - all our brethren who were badly hit by the nature’s fury with devastating floods in Andhra Pradesh in specific.
To help the affected people assume life with hope and enable them to come to normal life we (-company name edited-) propose to donate one day gross salary with a matching contribution from the company to the A.P. Chief minister’s Relief Fund. We believe our human gesture in rendering this help goes a long way though not sufficient. We assume that most of the associates would willingly come forward and give their consent which gesture will to some extent assuage the miseries caused by the floods to our less fortunate fellow citizens.
However, associates who do not wish to contribute may please inform the same through a provision provided for this purpose in our HR Online. It would be deemed that associates who do not respond are willing to contribute.
We wish to close the matter by Friday 9th October. Please therefore respond suitably.

This mail is intended for Associates at Hyderabad offices.
Dear Colleagues,
Unprecedented flood has totally ravaged the districts of Kurnool and Mehaboobnagar in Andhra Pradesh. Krishna and Guntur are the next worst effected districts. Several lakhs of people are still in danger. Many more areas in the above districts will soon be affected as the rivers Krishna and Tungabhadra are swollen. The flood has caused damages to the roads, bridges, embankments etc,.
Till now the floods have claimed about 38 lives and several lakhs of people are displaced.
There is an immediate requirement of Cloths, Bed sheets, Baby foods, Milk Powder and Medicines for the flood victims.
Let us all come forward to help our brothers by donating used or new cloths, shawls, blankets apart from the un-expired general medicines like crocin etc., which may be great help to the needy. We are keeping two separate boxes for the garments of ladies and gents at the Cellar Parking at Phase-I building at Madhapur and at the Reception of Tower –I , Manikonda. Kindly see that all the garments should be in usable condition and let us not provide them with the torn cloths.
Request you all to please donate generously and help us in mobilising the requirements on an urgent basis.
Your donations should reach us on or before Thursday, 8th October, 2009.
