good work. maa frnds batch kooda hyd lo 2.2 lakhs colect chesaru, most from our BE batch.
have visited 3 villages yesterday and found all of them are affected very badly. after talking to them, they just want food as much as possible.
so decided to distribute food items only.
we are helping for 2 villages namely MADDOR(550 houses) and TUMMALA PALLI(150 houses).
For each house, 10 kg rice, 1kg oil, 1kg dal, 0.5 kg tamarind, 0.5kg mirchi.
Never delay the ending of a meeting or the beginning of lunch.

All,
Thank you very much for your contributions. With all your contribution I collected Rs 4880/- i.e. ~10 kits. Yesterday I went and came back successfully.
Here is summary of my trip.
We (20 member team) started yesterday at 4 am from Hyd. Total we carried 1300 kits- our group (10), Mentor Graphics (1000), IDT (140) and a Group of friends (150).
We met the ‘SEVA BHARATHI’ team (service wing of RSS) at Kurnool. They have done a survey of fully effected villages around the Kurnool. We selected ‘Sunkesula’ village (30km from Kurnool) which is next to Sunkesula irrigation project and all ~600 families affected by flood. We and another 20 member ‘SEVA BHARATHI’ team went to that village. The situation in the village is very bad. The villagers lost everything in their houses. All houses are severely damaged.
We prepared 1300 tokens. Instead of distributing the kits randomly and also to avoid stampedes we went to each & every house and distributed the one token/family. After distributing the tokens we assembled them at one place and distributed two kits/token. The villagers liked our distribution process very much. They are very happy. Seems nobody distributed like that. Every family in the village got the kits. Nobody missed and nobody got the extra kits. We distributed nearly 1000 kits there and we have another 300 kits remaining. So we went to another village called ‘Kotthakota’, which is partially damaged. There, we distributed in similar way only to the effected families.
We were back to Hyd at 3 am today.
