Ladies: 'We Lost Respect On Chandrabose'
There was a time when only the actors and directors used to face criticism but now things have changed. It appears that even the lyricists are not going to be spared if they misfire with their pen. But then the noted lyricist Chandrabose is likely to face the heat for his super hit song.
Chandrabose has written the lyrics for ‘Ringa Ringa..’ for the upcoming movie ‘Arya 2’ and the song is a major hit right now. However, the lyrics have raised the eyebrows of many women and they are finding it too sleazy and objectionable to be heard.
The following lines they feel uncomfortable:
bodi moothi muddulante rothey putti korameesa kurrgaalla aara patti..(I got vexed up by shaved mouth kisses and hence searching for moustache kisses)
veta kaththi ontloki doosi siggu gutthi tenchesaaru (they have digged the sword in my body and plucked my virgin layer)
five star hotelaithey gacha bicha..pampu settu matter ayithey rachcho rachaa (what is ‘pump-set’ here?)
puttumachchalu lekkettesaaru leni machchalu puttinchaaru
onti kolathalu maarchesinaaru-raani madathalu rappinchaaru
Now that the song is a hit, the ladies say that soon the kids will be dancing for the same song in reality dance shows and urge that censor must cut these lines. They are now venting their ire on Chandrabose for coming up with such lines and declare that they have lost respect on him for such lyrics.
