You should ideally have 3+ years of experience working with consumer internet companies (such as Yahoo, Amazon, eBay, Google, or Shopping.com). Experience designing for online communities is a big plus. You should be passionate about social media.
Job qualifications:
· Expert in xHTML/CSS
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science or related fields
· 3+ years of industry experience with consumer-facing web sites
· Experience in working in fast paced product development using Eclipse/CVS/Subversion or other version control system
· Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (but not DW, because you would rather use Coda, right?)
· Ability to create emails and web pages following a style guide and templates
· Experience with JavaScript/ActionScript
· Ability to effectively communicate and persuade
