Director Raj Aditya commits suicide

Young director Raj Aditya, who shot to fame with Sumanth starrer Pourudu, has ended his life by attempting suicide this morning (March 21). He was found dead in Hotel Basera in Secunderabad, where he had been staying for past few months. He hung himself in the hotel room and the reason for his suicide is unknown. His new film, Malli Malli, is releasing today and but his death came as shock to the unit members.
Raj Aditya real name is Rajakumaran Thambi and he is the son of Sreekumaran Thambi noted filmmaker in Malayalam. Raj was also child artist in many Malayalam films before he joined noted director Priyadarshan as an assistant.
Raj had directed his first film Ishtam with Vikram Kumar (of 13 B fame) and later turned independent director with Porudu. He was also committed to do a film for producer Supreme Raju. He was survived by a wife who resides in Chennai and two kids.
