A press meet to condemn the release of Jaggubhai on the net and through the pirated CDs even before its release on the silver screen witnessed some emotional scenes with director KS Ravikumar and co-producer Radhika Sarathkumar breaking down during their speech. Those who were present to lend support against piracy included Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, KS Ravikumar, Cheran, Sarath Kumar, RB Choudhery, Rama Narayanan and VC Guhanathan. During his speech, KSR said that the present set of people involved in piracy seems to be those that know science and technology very well. He revealed that the version that has been released is the one that has just the sound effects and the re-recording needs to be done to get the final result. He wondered how the print managed to leak out of the lab. KSR mentioned that his name on that particular print would appear with a watermark to differentiate it from the final version. The director literally broke down when he said that he feared if the piracy can ever be controlled. Radhika Sarathkumar, who had co-produced Jaggubhai along with Zee Motion Pictures, said that she was shocked when fans started calling her with the news about the leak. The actress-producer thanked the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for initiating action immediately and finding the culprits within ten hours of complaint. She also mentioned that Sarath Kumar, who decided to take on the fight, was injured during the raid. The actress also broke down during her speech. The film’s hero Sarathkumar thanked the CM for his timely help. Sarath said that Radhika and he had saved money to bring Jaggubhai to light. He added that the Rs. 15 crores invested is not a big deal as it can be earned in no time, but all the hard work put in by the actors and technicians should not go waste due to unscrupulous elements. Rajinikanth also condemned the perpetrators of the crime. He revealed that Sarath insisted that he and his fans see the film. Rajni also said that the inspector in Jaggubhai is equal to ten Alex Pandyans. He appreciated that the daughter role in Jaggubhai is more powerful. He predicted that Jaggubhai will be a great success. Kamal Haasan said that he experienced the same problem when his Vikram hit the screens and the video cassette was available the very next day. When he complained to the then CM MG Ramachandran about the issue, the culprits were arrested immediately but rued that they managed to come out the very next day. మాస్ అంటే ఇష్టం, బెజవాడ అంటే ప్రాణం - jai AnDhRa

Sarath Kumar was in for a shock when he came to know that his yet-to-be released Jaggubhai is available in CDs. The actor reportedly decided to find out the culprits all by himself and went on a chase at around 2:30 am in Pursawalkam area. The culprits gave a tough time to Sarath and raced out of the spot but the actor managed to apprehend them and hand over to the police. It is also worth a mention here that Jaggubhai was released on the internet and an engineer has been arrested in this regard. The actor has said that he will reveal all the details about those who were involved in pirating the CDs of Jaggubhai and selling them at the market even before its release. Jaggubhai stars Sarath and Shriya and is directed by KS Ravi Kumar. The film has been shot extensively in Australia and Malaysia. మాస్ అంటే ఇష్టం, బెజవాడ అంటే ప్రాణం - jai AnDhRa
