I think its Sekhar Kammula's decision, monna edo interview lo choosa, diplomatic ga undam ani try chesadu, but Sakshi TV vadu force chese koddi.. he seemed to opine that he didn't care about the whole issue. Telangana ivvatam lo tappu ledu anna feeling...

Ravi Teja, Priyamani’s latest film ‘Shambo Shiva Shambo’ is gearing up for its release this Sankranthi. Roja who was cast in an important role in this film has reportedly been replaced. The entire scenes which had Roja have been shot again with another actress. The buzz among the film circles is that Roja’s open support to ‘Samaikhyandhra’ might be one of the reasons behind this replacement. Inside sources also say that perhaps the film makers chose to play it safe and chose not to invite any trouble in the Telangana region by going ahead with Roja’s role in the film. Allari Naresh and Siva Balaji also play important roles in the film. The film is a remake of a blockbuster Tamil film titled ‘Nadodigal’. Samuthirakni who has directed the Tamil version is also directing the Telugu version which has been titled ‘Shambo Shiva Shambo’. Bellamkonda Suresh is producing the film on ‘Sri Sai Ganesh Productions’ banner. Sundar C.Babu is composing the music for the film. |

Shekar Kammula re-shoots ‘Maa Telugu Talli’ song in ‘Leader’
08 January 2010, Hyderabad .
Shekar Kammula’s latest film ‘Leader’ is a political drama which is loosely inspired from the real political events in AP. Rana Daggubati is making his debut with this film and the film also has Richa Gangopadhyay and Priya Anand in lead roles. The film had recently completed its censor formalities and was given a clean ‘U’ certificate. However, the sudden change in the political fabric in the past one month seems to have shown its impact on ‘Leader’ as well. The buzz is that Shekar Kammula has re-shot ‘Maa Telugu Talli ki’ song and the lyrics of this song have been changed to ‘Maa Telangana Talli Ki’. However, this new version of the song will be distributed only in the Nizam area which comprises all the Telangana districts. The original version of ‘Maa Telugu Talli Ki’ will be distributed without any changes in rest of AP. This decision was taken to avoid any sort of controversy which might arise given the current political scene in the Telangana region.
The film has been produced by M.Saravanan, M.S.Guhan, Aruna Guhan and Aparna Guhan under film under AVM Productions banner. ‘Leader’ is AVM’s 174th movie. Shekhar Kammula has also written the story apart from directing this film. Mickey J Meyer has composed the music for this film. Thota Tharani is handling the art direction and production design and Vijay C.Kumar is handling the camera.
