Finally Pawan Kalyan 'Teen Maar' got positive report from all areas. 'Teen Maar' movie collected Rs.9.4 Cr (Nizam Rs 1.7 crores, Rs 94 lakhs in Ceded, Rs 57 lakhs in Guntur, Rs 39 lakhs in West godavari, Rs 29 lakhs in East Godavari and Rs 34 lakhs in Krishna Dist.) in its first day. On its second day Rs 96 lakhs collected in Nizam region only.

Pawan Kalyan returns with a bang. Pawan had a sensational beginning in the Telugu film industry with several hits, but his career saw a dip recently because of the mediocre films he featured in. Now, with a film like ‘Teen Maar’, a remake of Saif Ali Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer Bollywood hit ‘Love Aaj Kal’, the actor makes an impressive comeback, though some of his fans may not like urban and chic presentation. Most of the sequences have been shot abroad.
Except for his film ‘Jalsa’, directed by Trivikram Sreenivas, which concentrated more on comedy and love elements, many of his films, including the much-awaited ‘Komarum Puli’, turned out to be box office disasters.
But the stylish actor, who is also one of the most popular in the Orkut community, makes a mark with the soft romance saga. Though the title seems unsuitable for this stylish made film, ‘Teen Maar’ is an enjoyable watch.
The highlight of the film is certainly Pawan’s top notch performance and Trivikram’s dialogues. Pawan’s signature style dialogue delivery suits the film’s tempo.
The film’s weak point is its second half – except for the final encore, rest of it drags. Jayanth Paranji has made some changes in the original script and it look like forced addition. The narration often drags, but thanks to the energy of leading stars, the film maintains continuity and engages audience.
‘Teen Maar’ has two different stories spread over three decades. one is a tender and soft love, other is contemporary with confused lovers unable to decide on their future.
Michael Velayudhan, a chef, lives in Cape Town and falls in love with Meera Shastri. But Michael, a compulsive flirt, is indecisive about his relationship Meera who wants to return to India. Finally, Michael decides to end their relationship.
While Michael becomes friendly with another local girl, back home Meera gets closer to a local politician.
With the main track, another parallel story that took place three decades ago in Varanasi runs and focuses on Arjun Palawai who is ready to do to any length for the sake of his love. The film ends on a happy note.
Pawan is lively in both roles. He has also taken efforts to dance well to the tunes of Mani Sharma. Surprisingly, his onscreen chemistry with Trisha works brilliantly for the film. For the first time, there is a lip-locking with Trisha. Shot asthetically, it looks natural part of the story.
Thrisha is suits the role. She adds grace and charm to her character.
Bangalore girl Kriti Kharbanda’s in the parrellel story looks quite natural. Ali is seen in a miniscule comedy role. Sonu Sood, Mukesh Rishi, Paresh Rawal are apt choices for their roles.
Mani Sharma’s song compositions are impressive, but background does not attain the standards he is known for. Camera work by Jayanth Vincent is superb. All the other technicians of have done a commendable job.
‘Teen Maar’ is worth a watch. Pawan Kalyan’s urban fans may like it much better.

New Delhi: Actor Pawan Kalyan's romantic entertainer 'Theen Maar' is headed for a record of sorts as it being released on Thursday across 1000 theatres worldwide and will be screened in Hyderabad 30 times on the first day.
'Theen Maar' is the only Telugu film to be released across 1000 screens worldwide.
According to reports the film will also be screened at Prasads IMAX in Hyderabad with 30 shows a day on the first day of release.
Theen Maar' is a romantic, action entertainer that marks Kalyan's return in a big way since his hit 'Khushi'.
Directed by Jayanth C Paranji, the music of 'Theen Maar' has also been received well by the audience.
Pawan Kalyan plays dual role in the film starring opposite Trisha and Kriti Karbhanda. The film is produced by Ganesh Babu on Parameshwara Arts Productions Banner.

Superstar Pawan Kalyan is in his elements in the role of a carefree somewhat flirtatious chef living in South Africa, who meets a girl (Trisha) in a pub and end up dating for a year.
But when she gets a job in India, they hold a 'break-up' party and decide to part ways. They move on in their lives but still miss each other.
A restaurant owner (Paresh Rawal) befriends Pawan and tries to put some sense into his head about love and commitment by narrating the love story of a friend of his 30 years ago.
Although Pawan Kalyan breathes life into his flamboyant role with his trademark mannerisms and punch lines, there are shades of grey in the role that may not go down well with audiences.
It also sounds similar to the confused lover-boy role essayed by Ram Charan Tej in Orange. Moreover, it is a remake of the Hindi blockbuster Love Aaj Kaal so the plot of two new-age lovers who can't differentiate between friendship and love is not altogether new to T-town movie buffs.
Pawan's performance remains the USP of this bold theme. Director Jayanth unnecessarily tries to balance the 'grey' role with a more idealistic role in the flashback portions set in Varanasi 30 years ago to show how different are the lovers of two different generations.
But since the difference consists of a modern couple moving on with their lives after they split up, while couples of an earlier generation were more committed and faithful, this only hampers the tempo and flow of the trendy romantic comedy.
Trisha tries hard to outshine Deepika Padukone in glam quotient but the B-town hottie was fabulous in her role and played it with attitude. Unfortunately, Trisha doesn't fit into the role of a modern girl and truly disappoints while Kriti has nothing much to do. After playing a fiery cop in Puli, Pawan returns as a spirited lover boy and reminds us of his Kushi days.
Trivikram Srinivas pens some thought-provoking dialogues, while Manisharma is unable to match the compositions of the original. Nevertheless, director Jayant Paranjpee makes a comeback by capturing some heart-touching moments and also offers a visual treat.

Pawan Kalyan’s Theen Maar movie that was released on Thursday is carrying superb talk and it is reflecting on the collections. Teen Maar rocked the box office in first two days. As per the producer’s statement this movie has grossed a whopping 9.4 crore rupees on the first day itself.
Second day collections are good too. Although it was a working day, initial buzz and positive talk helped Theen Maar to pull strong crowds. Saturday and Sunday would be much bigger and on par with the release day, say trade experts.
Theen Maar will face tough competition from its second week though. However, it is likely to collect record first week share in Pawan Kalyan’s films. Theen Maar is not a universal subject and especially uneducated masses are finding it tough to relate to the film. Hence, A centers business would be extremely high than the below centers.
