When Y S Jagan's plenary session for his party was on, (today being the second day) there was an amusing incident in the south side of the main pandal. A group of youngsters got up and began shouting "Jai Balayya" and "Jai Sri Rama Rajyam." Bemused (and slightly embarrassed) party workers (of YSR Congress) had to gently intervene and calm them down. This spontaneous show of goodwill that NBK generates is very unique. Perhaps no other hero in Tollywood manages to carve out this level of sustained interest.
Irrespective of hits or flops, NBK comes across as an actor who is simple and down to earth. Even in cine functions he presents himself confidently with no pretensions. In the recent Cine MAA awards he came onto the stage without any make up. The crowds still love him and, among the stars present, he was the one who was given the longest ovation.
