the trend has changed now ..sound is more important and also peoples tastes are changing .. so by this trend no singer can live longer like SPB
if you are still looking for old school kind of music its not possible
how do u think shahrukh got AKON to sing a hindi song? SPB can sing much better than him but still its the trend anthe |

Praveen mama, Sriramachandra became indian idol, during that fancy singing he got many accolades, but look how pathetic he sings live and when he sings some old songs of ghantasala.
Again Hemachandra was top notch, look at him, he cannot even sing better of any simple songs.. These competition are high but quality is not.

praveen mama, how many singers come and go doesnt matter, are we able to remember atleast one of them, doest any singer says I am the one for this song, no body else can do it other than me? Mood batti singer kaadu, its more like variety voice kosam MD's chestunna prayogam ante, but frankly speaking, none of these simgers not matter ARR and others bring even 1000's unless they make any impact, it doesnt matter for me... These songs are becoming hit only if tune is good, else these songs doesnt even get noticed..
Inka IR vellipoyi decade ayyindi, but still we are calling him for movies like SRR, do you think anyone else would have brought such an effective BGM or score other than IR, think about current crop like harris, Thaman and others, who would have done justice to this movie? |

look at guys like unni krishnan, karthik, srinivas, Naresh iyer, benny and the songs they sang..
do u think SPB can bring in that kind of variation? |

But where is the replacement? Everyone tried 100's of singers, can any one even come close to 1% of what SPB is?? He also tried to bring down IR's monopoly, but what happened even now people are dependent on IR when there is no alternative.. |

After rahman came we have very good talented singers with variety..

Gaali mama, Ramakrishna interview ending lo ade anesadu gaa, mee interview ante chala prepare ayyi vacha meeru elanti konte prasnalu vestaro kani meeru chala baaga chesaru ani..
inka Ramakrishna vishayaniki vaste, he is compared to Ghantasala for voice, however I feel it was similar to voice of Ghantasala's ending career, not at his prime..

Excellent interview.
First time ABN RK ni nijamga humble and interested ga choosaa. He was less interested in gossips and more on the music.
Ika Rama Krishna vishayaaniki vasthe, nenu eppudu aayana fan ni kaadu. In fact aayana gonthu peddagaa nacchadu naaku. Kaani, ee interview choosaaka aayana paatalu vinaalane interest pergindi.

5000 songs padadu Ramakrishna, no doubt he is a good singer, but for me he succeeded because of some factors like he sounded like ghantasala in his later years, he was relative for Susheela garu.
However great these singers are, singers like Anand, Ramakrishna and many others couldnt sustain infront of versatality, voice quality and versatality of SPB.
How chakravarthy could stop his career I am not sure may be at that time chakravarathy was signing off films 40-50 per year, though there are many other MD's if lead MD doesnt sign, others would have automatically stopped, not sure. But Ramakrishna's and others unfortunate timing is that he were in same time when SPB and KJY were around and with this issue, he just didnt get chances I guess. |
