Sasibabu:chaalaa easy ......... first column use sequence generator initial value as 1, increment by 1 output column as SeqNo...... after that use expression transformation ...... In variable port use V_SeqNo as SeqNo/5 , In output port Ceil(V_SeqNo)
Sasibabu annai idhi chesaanu indaakane... kakapothe sequence generator badulu veriable port okati teesukunna to increment the count. We have a restiction to not use sequence generator in our project
v_COUNT_RQST_ID = IIF(ISNULL(v_COUNT_RQST_ID),1,v_COUNT_RQST_ID+1)
o_QUE_NBR = CEIL(v_COUNT_RQST_ID/5) pettanu
kakapothe inko issue vundhi annai.
This will work perfectly fine when we run for the first time...
Next time run chesetappudu we need to take max(que_nbr) and start incrementing from there. I am working on that now. And also 1st day only 27 records ee vasthe 1st five sets 27,6 daggara aagutundhi... Next day vache 1st 3 records ki kooda we need to assign 6 as que_nbr... ee req meedha work chestunna ippudu.. meeku emanna telisthe cheppandi ela cheyalo...

Dear bewarses,
I have the following requirement. For example if the source contains 25 records, the records which I read 1st 5 should have que_nbr as 1, next 5 records should have que_nbr as 2 and so on....
