Handlooms and Textiles Minister Shankar Rao on Tuesday alleged that former TDP MLA Paritala Ravi's murder plan was sketched at Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy's farm house.

"Paritala Ravi's murder plan was sketched at the farm house of Sabitha Indra Reddy. Home Minister's followers have been involved in several murders in the past. They even tried to kill me. Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy didn't react even after attack on a Dalit Minister, just because Sabitha Indra Reddy hails from the Reddy community. The police have not initiated any action against those who attacked me. At least now, the party should take some action. Orelse, Congress will have no future in the state," said Shankar Rao, in his 8-page letter to AICC chief Sonia Gandhi.

The Minister also stated that there is need to revamp the present Cabinet to improve governance and transparency in the state.

"The Congress party should give proper representation to all sections. During the expansion, the leadership should induct SCs/STs/ BCs into the Cabinet and the corrupt ministers in the present cabinet need to be sacked," said Shankar Rao.
