1) Shiv Sena, which currently runs the BMC with the BJP, is ahead in early leads. At 11.30 am, the results reflect: Shiv Sena-BJP-RPI: 4; Congress -NCP: 0; MNS: 1; Others: 2
2) The BMC has an annual budget of 21,000 crores; it has 227 seats; the turnout yesterday for voting was abysmal - just 46%.
