Job Description:
Position :Embedded Lead
Location: Singapore

Product and technological environment:
The position is open in the Telecom High End Operating System team. As such, the product and technological environment will be the new generation of Telecom embedded OS for SIM card; mobile TV, 4G, LTE networks, Mobile Payment (contactless payment in the Telecom ecosystem), Near Field Communication (NFC).
Responsibilities:
Analyze and challenge requirements in order to define the project plan from specification to acceptance.
Make commitment (at costs, on time, to scope and to quality), find the best solution to optimize these commitments and commits himself or herself on them
Lead and co-ordinate the team efforts to ensure the success of the projects. Evaluate and control schedule of the project and communicate regularly the status of the project.
Be the technical leader of the team, push technical solutions and validate the technical solutions proposed by the team within the inherent constraints of the project (e.g. system performance, development time)
Endorse and promote the use of software engineering methods and tools (coding standards, code reuse rules, methodology). Participate in the improvement of work methods and exchanges between various teams and/or projects.
Set the technical objectives for the staff in his/her team
Evaluate the staff in his/her team
Keep high level of motivation and involvement of the team
Encourage team spirit and continuously improves his/her team productivity and process
Develop and maintain core competencies of his/her team as appropriate for the technology
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, or related fields
Experience in Embedded Software project leading.
Leadership skills and the ability to drive develop and motivate his/her team
Expertise in technical Embedded Software development/validation activities and component integration. Good knowledge in microprocessors and micorcontrollers usage and architecture.
Proficiency in C/C++, Java and/or Visual Basic (.Net) programming langages.
Hands-on on compilers, simulators, emulators.
Ability to manage planning
Effective in organizing, negotiating and persuading |
