Nandamuri Balakrishna's latest magnum opus 'Simha' is releasing worldwide on April 30th. This movie is carrying lot of buzz and expectations both in the average audience and trade circle alike. As a result of this biggest pre-release hype in the history of Telugu cinema, this movie has already created some unique records, both in Andhra Pradesh and overseas too. This movie has reiterated the fact that Balayya is the King Of Masses. A peek at some of the records and snippets about this movie: 1)Narsaropeta in Guntur district is witnessing the roar of 'Simha' even before its release. The first day shows have been bought for hire for an amazing amount of Rs 7.2 lakhs. This is a far high than the existing record in the town which is 5.4 lakhs. 2)In Kadapa District of Rayalaseema, this movie is releasing in 15 centers, which is by far one of the biggest milestones, surpassing the previous highest of 12.The craze from the buyers and audience for the movie in umpteen number small towns across Andhra Pradesh, indicates the craze of Balayya in the masses. 3) In cities like Vijayawada, Guntur, Ongole and Kurnool, the movie is being exhibited in an extraordinary number theatres on first day. Inspite of the high count of theatres exhibiting the movie, its really shocking to see fans at mid night fighting for tickets all across Andhra. The craze for the movie has gone over the roof in urban as well as rural areas. 4) In a small town like Gudivada, the movie is releasing in 4 theaters, which is 60% of the theaters in the town. The ticket rates have been selling at a whooping price of Rs 300, 12 hrs before the screening of the movie. 5) In a small town Addanki in Prakasham district, a traditional stronghold for Balayya, a 3rd party exhibitor paid Rs 3.2 lakhs for screning of the first day. The previous record here was 2.7 lakhs. 6) In Hyderabad City, which is considered a weak-link for Balakrishna, the craze for this movie is unpresidented. The city is screening nearly 10 benefit shows, a neverseen record in the city. This proves again that there is no real weak-link for Balakrishna in the state. 7) Theatres all across the state have been transformed into festival spots, being decorated with flowers, dressed with colorful vinyls and flexes and illuminated with bright floroscence on the occasion of the release of Simha. Odeon Delux at RTC X roads has been covered with a 1000 Sqft Flex by Balayya fans, which by far is the biggest flex erected by fans in History of X roads. Simha, the Balayya Starrer movie is releasing in a few hours world wide with tremendous craze all over. Even though, the combo of Hero-Director-Producer is for the first time, the stills and Trailer have created a rage among the mass everywhere. Even before the start of shows, Simha has started creating many records. Few of them, in a center like Hyderabad where normally a much hype generated film has at most 3 benefit shows, Simha has 10 benefit shows before 11:00AM in the morning. And added to this, there are no tickets available by 29th evening itself. There is a big black market going on around midnight time at the theatres, This resembles normally in small towns where there are more movie addicts. But seeing this kind of craze in Hyderabad is the first time. It was never seen before for any movie. Bhramarambha - Kukatpally - 2 Shows(5:55 and 8:45) Mallikarjuna - Kukatpally - 2 Shows(6:15 and 9:05) Sai Ranga - Miyapur - 1 show(8:00) Shashikala - Moosapet - 1 show(8:30) Chandrakala - Moosapet - 1 show(8:30) Prasads Multiplex - 2 Shows (8:45) Prasad Imax Big screen - 1 show (7:45) Well!!!! The list itself shows the craze the movie has generated in the last few day. With also the inside buzz being very positive for the movie, the film looks like, it would be another sensational hit in the making for Balayya after SamaraSimha Reddy, Narasimha Naidu and Lakshmi Narasimha. |
