life term eyochu. uri sikhs a esinaa chaala catches unnayi : The penalty for most of the charges is either life imprisonment, or death. If convicted and sentenced to death by the special court, the High Court will have to review it and be satisfied with the court's proceedings, before it confirms the death sentence. The High Court can also, at this stage acquit, order a re-trial, or order an inquiry into the case. In case the High Court agrees with the prosecution and confirms the sentence, Kasab has the option of moving the Supreme Court to challenge the order. If the Supreme Court dismisses the appeal, he could explore other avenues like presidential pardon and face several more hearings, before he finally serves his sentence. Kasab's stand throughout the trial has remained the same. He has claimed that he had been framed by the police and his confession was given under duress. During the trial, the special court has heard the testimony of 658 witnesses. A Pat on your Back is few inches away from Kick on your Butt

lowdaalodi sakhyaalu levaa help chesina indians ni. esi para dobbali konde nayallani unofficial gaa... Mumbai: Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone Pakistani terrorist captured for the attack on Mumbai in 2008, has been pronounced guilty by special court in Mumbai. Two Indian nationals, Fahim Ansari and Sabahuddin Ahmed, accused of being members of Pakistani militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba and conducting reconnaissance in Mumbai before the attack, have been acquitted by the court. The court said the evidence against the two Indians was not conclusive. The verdicts were read out by special judge M L Tahilyani, and the arguments on sentencing will begin on Tuesday. Kasab was held guilty of killing Maharashtra ATS chief Hemant Karkare and encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar. Kasab's accomplice Abu Ismail was held guilty of killing IPS officer Ashok Kamte. Kasab was also held guilty of waging war against India and found enough evidence that the perpetrators of the attack were in Pakistan. The court ruled that 20 of the wanted accused, including Pakistanis Hafiz Saeed, Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi and Abu Hamza, were involved in the 26/11 conspiracy. The trial in the case focused around Kasab, the prime accused, and two Indian co-accused Fahim Ansari and Sabahuddin Ahmed. Ten Pakistani terrorists sneaked into Mumbai on 26th November 2008 and unleashed 60 hours of mayhem that left 166 people dead and 244 injured. The terrorists had targeted several sites such as the World Heritage Building of Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel, Hotel Oberoi-Trident, Cama Hospital and the Chabad House, a Jewish prayer centre and Leopold Cafe, a favourite among foreigners. During the trial, a whopping 653 witnesses were examined by the prosecution and a 675-page written submission was filed. The witnesses included many survivors of the terror attacks, eyewitnesses, family members of the victims, police officials, several foreign nationals, Indian security officials and officials from the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
