the theatre owners dnt hv to run the films to run the theatre they are not distributors
they just rent out their place to the producers or buyers,
fr this big films dist ask fr mg[minimum guarantee] which is non recoverable advance i.e if the film flops od doesnt collect the advance amnt the dist wont return
so all these advances from theatre owners they collect and give it to the producer and buy films as every theatre owner wants exhibit big films naturally nothing wrong in that so there is somuch risk in that so they are giving lease to lessees
big 4 lessees as they r distributors themselves exhit their films on the lease amnt which is profitable to them or if any out side syndicate buyer buys the film they charge double the lease amount [100%profit] to so finally he will end up paying huge rentals to the theatres chain they have
so what ever profit it comes he will end up paying to the big4 syndicate in that process so many small distributors lost and or nt able to buy films as these big 4 as they hv best theatres wont giv gud advances to te small distributors also so that he cant pool such a big amnt and buy the film
like this they damaged the distributors system
next they attacked theatre owners who wants to run theatres on thier,
they put them on the black list and wont giv big budget films and make him fed up running to each distribution offices fr films to feed his theatre and finall he will come to their terms and give it tol ease for nominal amnt
in that they take away TMC also [2- on each ticket which shd belong to theatre owners] like that they mint money on rent etc…
finally they damaged small budget film producers and buyers also
small film producer or distributor when approach them for theatres they will charge high rental some times abnormal rent also depending upon the situation
as these films usually start with occupency of 40 to 50% max to lowest and they even remove if its picking up slowly to accomodate big film ok fine it’s business
but the rental they charging is three times higher than the lease amnt some times so the small producer pays lease amnt rent we can add 10 to 20% abv the lease amnt also is profitable for the producer or buyer
but they are eating away the margin of 1lakh per film per week on each theatre
with out any effort
which shd belong to the producer

IN A CALENDAR YEAR.
2. ENTERTAINMENT TAX SHD B ENHANCED ON HIGH BUDGET AND DUBBED FILMS.
3. Theatre Maintenance charges [TMC] [2/- on each ticket]
shd b withdrawn to High budget &Dubbed Films.
4. Govt shd collect 1Lakh on each print abv 75 prints,
from the producers to avoid huge theatres release.
5. Reduce Theare ticket Rates to 10/- 20/- & 30/ – in single screens
And in Multiplexes frm 150/- to 80/-
6. 50% of the Theatre capacity shd b allotted to lower classes.
7. ABOLISH THEATRE LEASE SYSTEM [DALARI SYSTEM]
LESSEES AND SYNDICATES SHD B RMOVED
GOVT SHD TAKE ACTION IF ANYBODY TRIES FOR MONOPOLY.
