Manchu Manoj And Manchu Vishnu- A Family Fight?
This is the story from a grapevine that is in circulation in Film Nagar with a few evidences. Many know that Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna and Vishnu are the children of Mohan Babu with his first wife. When she breathed her last while the children were very young, Mohan Babu was in deep grief looking at mother less children. Nirmala, none other than the younger sister of Mohan Babu’s wife came forward with large heart giving place for Lakshmi and Vishnu as mother. Later Manoj was born for her but still she has been treating Vishnu with better affection as mother as he was her own sister’s son.
Things moved well all these years but now some misconceptions and misunderstandings are talking place between Vishnu and Manoj, say sources. Vishnu was not seen in the ‘Jhummandi Naadam’ audio function as well. It seems that Manoj is feeling less loved by his father when compared to Vishnu. The evidence for this is like this.
Almost all the films of Vishnu, except Astram and Dhee were made by Mohan Babu on home banner. His debut movie Vishnu, Game, Krishnarjuna and Saleem are the films made by Mohan Babu so far with Vishnu in lead.
But when came to the case of Manoj, his father made only Sree and Raju Bhai but all other films viz Donga Dongadi, Nenu Meeku Telusaa, Prayanam, Bindaas and Vedam were made by outside banners.
Looking at Manoj's feelings, Mohan Babu has now made Jhummandi Naadam with him.
On the other hand, Vishnu is feeling envious of Manoj for getting offers from outside banners. He started his own '24 Frames Factory' banner and is now producing his own film with the support of his father-in-law. And he is also struggling to prove better than Manoj by practicing martial arts etc.
It is true that competitive spirit always helps anyone to grow. Let us see if this family competition will end up with right output.
