The biggest joke is everyone uses the case of Prasthanam to argue that the so-called Big4 have suppressed & killed the film. Where as the producer & director Deva Katta never said such things.
Some random people “hijacked” their film for a so-called “cause” and went speaking about it in TV channels. The Producers of Prasthanam claimed despite a good film, they fell short on revenues only because of their lack of understanding of the film-business.

The spokesperson of BIG4 termed this agitation as ‘false propaganda’, comes another accusation after ‘conspiracy’
Lessee’s shd come out and pin point exactly which info is false,
‘The entire telugu industry is not able to make better revenues, losing their share to lessee’s due to exorbitant rents’
is that false propaganda or fact?

6 key syndicate members are holding around 80%[350+] of the theatres in Nizam Area, is that false?
Can they fill the lessee’s column with their names and release it to the media?
Why do they blame this as Media’s creation , in what way they are involved in this?
This is a big legal scam and looting, Any one with normal senses can understand the inside-out of film trade, no rocket science required to know the lessee’s ‘Ogilopoly’
Mr Sunil Narang is minting money from Nizam area by holding many theatres chain, Is he contributing a single penny from the big booty[crores] to TFI,
Can they disclose his business partners list?
No one tried to use or hijack ‘Prasthanam’ for this agitation, it’s one film among so many films used as reference cases, just nothing more than that
Who said lessee’s killed the film ‘Prasthanam’?
If ‘Prasthanam’ made less revenue due to lack of understanding of the film-business,
Then why did their previous film ‘Vennela’ made around 85+lakhs business[ excluding sold out districts] from Nizam area with low publicity than ‘Prasthanam’ ?
‘Anand ‘ made 1.75 cr+ in Nizam area ? is that due to lack of understanding of film business?
How come ‘Prasthanam’ did around 25+ lakhs business only from Nizam area despite +v reviews, huge publicity campaign and celebrities recommendations
What does it indicate?
The only mistake they made was going for extra prints release,nothing else.

Nobody is trying to bitch about any successful person, no jealousy involved, we are just trying to stop the middlemen looting , Most of the big production houses are not making films, are they fence- sitters?
Lessee’s have pulled down the industry to this low level, making all individual distributors close their shutters, losing their lively hood.
If the control and the restrictions by the Lessee’s are not there, then we can make some money

UFO charges per theatre are 9k,7k,5k,3k for 1st to 4th week, it decreases as the run goes on..
That film print will be used for censor and business purposes, and plan the Release thru Digitalized theatres. For the financier Guarantee they will have lab agreement with post production done at their studios. Even the high budget film producers wont take more than 10 prints
It’s a different story in our Home state.. Now Lessee’s r allowing theatres to go for Dizitalization, but we need to wait for few more years to see all Dizitalized theatres.
They wont discuss all these issues, will ignore to answer all these questions at the ‘Open Debate’
Things shud be better in future with the awareness among the film industry and among paying audiences with this on- going agitation.
